Ever get bored while installing Windows? I know I do -- the idea of staring at progress bars and Microsoft advertisements for an hour or so while reinstalling Windows doesn't get me too excited. But there is an alternative. Download Squad has an article about how you can play pinball while Windows installs on your computer!
Basically, all you have to do is wait until the point where the Windows Installer says it is copying files and then do the following:
Press "SHIFT-F10" to get to a command prompt
cd
cd "Program Files"
cd "Windows NT"
cd Pinball
pinball.exe
While this isn't the best Pinball simulator out there -- it's just the Space Cadet pinball game that comes with Windows -- at least it's better than just watching the Microsoft Ads until Windows finishes installing!
