Which new Stern Pinball Machine should I buy? Views: 1317
     Tuesday, May 17 2005 @ 03:36 PM EDT
I'm getting ready to buy a new Stern machine and I'm looking for recommendations on which one to get.

I've played some of them, and I think right now my favorite is Elvis. The build quality of Elvis seems better to me than some of the earlier Stern pinballs I've played (monopoly, roller coaster tycoon), and I like the music and the look of the game.

This will be my first newer pinball machine -- all the other pinballs in my collection are EM machines.

Any recommendations on some of the other new Stern pinballs like Lord of the Rings and Simpsons Pinball Party? I've heard good and bad things about both of them, but I've yet to play either of them.

Razz I have played Lord of the Rings and find it built well. It is a nice mix of easy and difficult shots. The playfield and art work are terrific. I would recommend it above Elvis. In addition, I have a Stern Harley Davidson, 3rd Edition, I personally like better than Elvis.
